Inter- and Multi-Disciplinary Engineering Education
“Inter-disciplinary” engineering education refers to engineering programs, courses, and assignments/projects that combine and/or require more than one discipline to complete successfully.
“Multi-disciplinary” engineering education refers to preparing students to work effectively with others from outside of their major discipline, typically through team assignments and activities.
The ASEE Mid-Atlantic Spring 2020 Conference committee has decided to try a slightly non-traditional format for this conference:
-
- Instead of scheduling multiple presentations concurrently, only one presentation will be given at a time. We hope this will result in a more “unified” conference, since we will all be attending the same presentations.
-
- We would like all of the presentations to align with the conference theme of Inter- and Multi-Disciplinary Engineering Education.
